Common questions
Most beginners stand in the first lesson. The beach, the boards and the group size are all chosen to make that likely, and nobody is rushed.
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Boards, wetsuits and the rest are included in every lesson.
You need to be comfortable in water out of your depth. Lessons stay in lifeguarded water at depths where you can stand most of the time.
If conditions are unsafe or unteachable we cancel, tell you as early as possible, and refund or rebook, your choice.
Group lessons from age eight, younger by private lesson at an instructor's judgment after a chat with you.
Yes, and the waves are often better. Winter wetsuits, boots and gloves are included from October to April.
