About us
A school, not a board rental with advice
Who we are, how we work and why this school is set up the way it is.
A school, not a board rental with advice
Most people can stand up in their first lesson when the teaching is structured: the right beach, the right board, and an instructor watching four people rather than fourteen. That is the whole model here, and it is why lessons are booked by level rather than sold to whoever turns up.
How we got here
Every instructor holds coaching and beach lifesaving qualifications and surfs this beach year round, which matters because reading this water on this tide is most of what keeps a lesson both safe and fun.
WHAT WE DO
The work in one view
Beginner lessons
Two hours from sand to standing, with boards and wetsuits included and groups of four.
Improver coaching
Turning, timing, and reading waves, for surfers past their first pop-up and stuck on a plateau.
Private lessons
One-to-one sessions built around exactly what your surfing needs next.
Kids' club
Weekly sessions through the season for ages eight and up, run by instructors who teach children well.
Equipment hire
Boards and wetsuits by the hour or day, sized honestly for your level and the day's conditions.
